Anegundi It is to North of Hampi across the Tungabhadra
and is to be reached by crossing the river with basket boats or by car
from Ganagavathi. It has famous Huchchappayan Matha, with fine chalukyan
pillers. Now the Huchchappayan matha is in ruins. The ruined palace of
the last rulers, Aravidu dynasty, is seen here and their descendants also
stay at Anegundi.
There is Navavrindavana or the Samadhis of nine Madhwa Saints
in an island of the tungabhadra.
There is a cave shrine of Sheshashayi, the Ranganatha temple, an interesting
Indo-Saracenic structure, Gagana mahal, and a jaina basti which has a beautiful
decorative Chalukyan door frame.

Itagi It has the best of Kalyana Chalukya temples
built by Mahadeva Dandanayaka in 1112.
