My name is Soujanya, I am basically from a place called Dharwad in Karnataka. I was born in Mumbai but spent my childhood, education and other things at Dharwad. Father was an Engineer (graduated from Pune University) worked in many Government Organizations such as PWD of MP, LIC in Mumbai etc before starting his own construction business at Dharwad. He was also a panel engineer for LIC, SBI, Indian Bank, etc. Unfortunately I lost him 10 years back because of Heart attack. My mother was a housewife, but before she used to work with LIC at Mumbai. Mother was basically from Mangalore but her family was settled in Mumbai. She graduated from Ruia College Mumbai. After father moving to Dharwad, she left the job to look after the kids. I lost her seven years back, because of Heart attack.

We are total five brothers and sisters. I am the second among them having one elder brother, two younger brothers and one younger sister. My  elder brother is married and he is separated from us, and he stays at Dharwad. We had a very little interaction with him. I had a younger brother who used to work with Central Railway, but unfortunately I lost him a year back. My other younger brother is an Engineer and done his MBA, he is presently working as Marketing Manager with a Bangalore based IT firm, for its Mumbai office. My younger sister is working in a schedule bank in Mumbai. We all three stay together. I have lot of relatives in Mumbai as many of mother’s sisters/cousins are settled here. Now, My mother’s elder sister is the guiding figure to us who stays at Dadar. We purchased a house in Dombivli (a Mumbai suburb) and we stay there.

By caste I belong to Gangamath (Mogaveera) –Hindu (but I don’t give much importance to caste) date of birth 10^th March 1965. I am a graduate with convent schooling and done many courses in art and art work. I got a job with the central railway shortly on a compensational basis and presently working as Accounts Asst. with the central Railways Mumbai. Both my brother and my sister are very open minded and both are financially independent. We all believe very strongly in the family values and are god fearing. Brought-up in a very good family with very good moral and social values.  We all three are very closely knit with each other

I am a pure vegetarian but I can cook non-veg. No habit of smoking and drinking.  I love cooking, artwork and reading. I can fluently speak English, Hindi and Kannada and fair amount of Marati.
